Letter from beyond??? |
I wasn’t really sure where to post this, so I figured Ghosts/Apparitions was as good as any. Forgive me if it is a little long winded…but most of my stories are ;)
As I have said in some of my previous posts, my grandmother was very ‘intuitive and she had a very definite sense of spirits and the like. Unfortunately, she passed away in September of 2000, after having a stroke and spending her last few months in a convalescent hospital, unable to speak or really function.
Just before I was ready to come back to CA from East TN, I was, visiting with my Aunt and Uncle one evening, and my Uncle said “When he thought I was ready, he had something he wanted me to read”. I had no idea what he could be talking about, and told him he was just being silly. I told him he should just show me whatever it was. He said he didn’t know if I was ready, so soon after my Grandmothers death, but his wife told him that she thought it was time.
He handed me a letter, written in an unfamiliar hand. But as I read further, the letter starts talking about family members and things that had happened in the family, many of them from long ago. I read a couple more lines and gave my uncle a confused look. He told me that Debbie (my cousins wife, who had never met my Grandmother other than 1 time while she was in the hospital, and at that time, she was unable speak) had written the letter. She said she had been having trouble sleeping, and she was sitting at the dining table writing and next thing she knew she had written 3 pages about people and events she knew nothing about. He told me to keep reading. As I continued to read, in total disbelief, it became very apparent who’s words these were: my grandmothers.
The letter went on to talk about things that happened when my Mom and her siblings were very young…things that even growing up in the same house and living with my grandparent most of my child hood, even I didn’t know. Apologizing for some things, explaining others.
Keeping in mind through this, Debbie was a little developmentally delayed, in that she was a little slower than some…at times almost child like. One of the last paragraphs said, “ I am sure you are probably wondering why I picked Debbie to do this. I thought that by her not knowing any of these things, it would be easier for you all to accept that this was truly from me, and she has an open mind like that of a child.”
I read this several times, and there is no possible way for Debbie to have known these things. Even my cousin didn’t know about any of it to have been able to tell her.
Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this?? |

Automatic Writing, yes.. I am familiar with the technique. I believe in it greatly, from having the experience myself. |

Wow thats truely amazing. I do believe in things like this. I had written a poem when my aunt passed away from cancer and the words came so easily it was like her writing them. Also I had an experiance when I was younger with my grandfather. This letter is amazing though. They do say that children are easier to come through being they are so innocent and being Debbie isn't as far along as she should be, she has an innocent soul. Thank you for sharing this with us. |

Good post.Yes I believe in these types of things.Once you are around the unexsplained you get kind of used to the unexspected.You don't see to many post like the anymore on USM.It was nice of You to post it.Saucerman |

Thank you all for your comments. I have to say this didn't in any way freak me out, it was comforting in an odd sort of way. It also made me much more of a believer in the "unexplained" |

This is a great post author! Yes, this happens to many people . This is another verification that those who pass over to the other side still continue to live on and that we never die!. |
