The Three Blind Men and the Elephant .... Leppy the Leprecaan (the return) |
If you view this post, and see some point to it, or for me to stay around here, or if you remember who I am, please reply, even a little "neat" or whatever will suffice. I just need to see what feedback I get to see what I want to do from this point on.
[This isnt my story, I heard it somewhere, forget where, but it has always stayed with me]
There once were three blind men, they were walking together and stumbled upon something, it was an elephant. But yet they could not see the elephant, so they used the sense of touch to try to find out what the strange object was. One man felt the tusk and said it felt like a spear. The other touched the tail, and said that it felt like a rope. The other touched the leg and said it felt like the trunk of a tree.
The three men were all right, and also all completely wrong. They could not see the whole picture, and neither can we. We are limited in our senses and are not able to percieve all that could possibly be percieved, and therefore different techniques on how to do things can be all correct, some working better for different people. Some not working as well. It depends on your paradigm of the world. How you see things, what you know, your experiance.
The same is true of ESP. There is no "right" way, though, believe me, there are wrong ways. Find what fits for you the best. Experiment. Finding your own answers that are inside of you, perhaps with a little bit of reassurance by others who have working techniques, is very important.
And my comment on life in general:
Deal with what you have before you and what you have control of. Dont take on too much. Experiance, learn, discover, and live life to the fullest. Dont wait on your life to start... carpe diem you know? Seize the day, become something great, and dont let anyone tell you otherwise. It is your life, live it without worrying about fitting into society's standards of growing up, settling down, having kids, and dying. Not saying to avoid the standards per say, but live it your way.
And my comment to USM:
Hey guys, anyone remember me? I havent posted in a long while, probably last christmas I posted -something-, most likely a reply. Well anyway, if you dont know who I am, I am known as Leppy, or Firefly. Firefly is my druidic name. I used to post here alot, the people here helped me understand that anything is possible, just takes alot of work. If any of you need any help with anything, contact me. I may or may not be able to help, but I can probably point you in the right direction.

You describe so well what I always wanted to say. There is no "right" way my friend, you are correct, we all grow diffrently and adapt differently. It is very good to see you on, it has been far to long :) |

Perhaps my return will be for good. Depends on if I feel I am needed here by the general population of USM. If I have purpose I am happe'. But its nice to post again. It has been far too long. |
