"The Haunted Gnome Garden" Y~(Gore) Huckleberry *graphic content* |
I never believed in the supernatural or ghostly hauntings until I lived with my aunt Jenny during the spring of 2001...
I had gone to stay with her as she was not in good health, she was a vegitarian and grew most of all the vegetables right in her own back yard. *(makes ya wonder)
I would help her in the garden which although colorful and vibrant in the day, at night it would become a completly different phantom landscape. trees appeared to over hang, weeds and flowers slumped over, and the moonlight itself cast a misty grey hue. infact aunt Jenny had even warned me not to venture out there after dark... thats when nature works her "magic" Jenny proclaimed.
Now, to make things worse, within the garden were at least seven different Gnomes holding tiny shovles, small plastic pitchforks, an ice-pick, and one even had an axe. These Gnomes though harmless looking to others had completly given me the *creeps*. big pointed noses, red circled cheeks, and a beckoning elf-type grin, with big glossy eyes seemingly following you.
One morning I went out only to find all of the Gnomes gathered together around a clearing in the grass. but more strange is that the grassy patch smelt as if just freshly cut. someone no doubtingly was playing a joke.
Later that night as I was driving up to the house after returning from the market, I noticed the Gnomes were now scattered about, but not in the yard!
What I couldn't figure out is how one of the Gnomes had gotten on top of the garage roof. two others were set aside on the road, and the other four were layed out face down single file near the front door. I gathered the bags out of the car and slowly walked past them inching toward the door.
When inside I told Aunt Jenny of what I had just saw. she just smiled and told me they're probably just playing a game. "Oooo Kay" I thought to myself, Jenny had been sick but now dellusional?
Now, hold on to your potatoes for what i'm about to tell...
I had awoken about 2:30 that morning to the sound of banging and chanting going on from the garden outside, afraid at what I might see I decided to go wake aunt Jenny and have her accompany me, all the while the ranting outside grew louder as lights or more to the point orbs began to circle there way about the house. Jenny was not in her room.
I made my way down the long hall and when I turned the corner there it was!!! The front door was wide open and peering in were two hideous Gnomes! one held the ice-pick, the other held the axe. They began to move about shaking violently and whispering things I did not understand. Next the room somehow lit up and I must have passed out...
The next thing I can remember is when I awoke my aunt was layed out unclothed in the garden with her head atop a pole, she had been decaputated and her body lay limp in the underbrush covered in flesh wounds. the Gnomes were dancing around a fire and sticking their hands into the great flames, while a few of them were gnawing their sharp teeth into Jennys lifeless corpse and devouring ripped flesh and bone tissue (blood splattered everywhere). I could not feel a thing, no hurting no pain of any kind, infact the sight of my aunt sprawled out in such a way did not affect me...
Yet now I can feel myself drifting upwards towards the night sky, as I look down I see myself lying motionless in gruesome torn silence, limbs torn and pinned against a tree . I look further up and there is aunt Jenny standing as a brightly lit apperation extending her hand to mine.
...We had died.
...Only a story, so calm down.
lol. hope it does not offend, not real only pretend...HuGZ ~YHB~ |

I never liked clowns or puppets (like a ventriloquist uses) and when I saw a gnome for the first time, of course I thought they were creepy too. I will remain afraid of gnomes now. Thank you very much! Lol! Great story!
