Since its been a while I thought I would do a update on the haunting at my work. For you newbies all you have to do is put "Prairieville Store" into the USM search and walllah..you will find the history and many more stories.

Now as of last month. My parents have decided to so some renovating..They are turning what used to be the "feed" part into an apartment, office and extra restroom. This is the oldest part of the store and I have to say the most haunted. I keep telling them there is no way that they will be allowed to sleep by the ghostly residents but they seem to think otherwise. *shrugs* should be interesting when they get moved in. *giggles*

Lets see where can I start with the occurances lately....ahhhhh, I know....a few days ago me and my brother were standing in the kitchen of the store and the cooler door is right beside us...Its heavy and you really have to push and pull on the door and a lot of times it doesnt get shut all the way. I just came out and obviously did not shut it to where the latch of the door latched...we were standing talking for a few minutes and the door pushed itself shut and latched. My brother was like, "did you see and hear that?"...LOL..I was like well yeah Im standing here. *giggles*

About a week ago the electricity went out at the store for a couple of hours...so it was paper and pencil time..LOL...You really cant do any cooking or anything when the lights are out because everything is electric. A friend of mine down the street came to the store to see why everyones lights were out and decided to sit at the table and have some chips and a coke...so I was sitting to the side of her talking and the next thing that happens is that her bottle drink slides towards me about 6 inches and she almosts chokes on her food. She helps out working at the store when people are sick or someone is on vacation so she knows about all the things that happen there.

We have another lady that fills in at times also and about a month ago we were sitting and talking at the same table when her eyes got real big. I was like, "whats the matter?" and Im turning looking behind me. She then tells me someone pushed on her back...she was very serious about it but I didnt see anyone.

We have our normal noises where people are walking...noones there...people are talking..noones there. I hear people back in the deli and metal banging against metal but noone is back there. Or should I say, someone is back there but ya know...lol.

I dont know If I ever posted about halloween...we put a tape recorder(VHS Cam Corder) back in the feed room and got a pretty good show. (Those of you waiting on copies...I just havent had time to get it copied..LOL). Ughhh, I gotta get that done. ;) There was a lot of noise, talking, banging and moving of the tape recorder and there was noone in the store. We set it up after closing and let it run through the night. There was some flashes of light like a camera taking a picture in the dark.

Im just waiting for the apartment to be done because the stories are going to be incredible..I just know it. I told them I was staying the night with them too...although, I wont be sleeping. ;)
